Rituals for preparing food, manner of eating,
place, time etc. also have influence. Even a
nutritious meal is not beneficial or even harmful if it is eaten in excess, improperly prepared, in a faulty manner or at an inappropriate place or at an inappropriate time. For physical and mental health it is necessary to establish balance of tridoshas. Improper food disturbs the balance. For example, if
a meal is eaten in a hurry and not chewed properly, Vatadosha occurs. In exactly the same way, if the food is undercooked or overcooked, its properties change. Many edible pardath properties change after cooking. Some meals are beneficial after eating, but taking the same meal at night can also cause harm. Many foods are beneficial in one season and harmful in another.

Yogurt helps in digestion, but should not be taken with certain foods, such as non-meat. Do not eat curd with mutton or fish. Doing so may cause allergies or other disorders. Do not eat hot things with curd.
15.By taking both starch and protein together, hydrochloric acid is secreted and the protein starts to be digested first and the starch remains undigested in the stomach. When it reaches the small intestine. By then it has gone bad. Proteins are also not digested properly due to the antagonistic process in acids and salts. So the digestion process deteriorates. Wheat, rice, potatoes etc are starchy foods. And eggs, meat, fish are protein rich. Protein and acidic food should not be taken together.
16.What not to eat with milk – Milk is a complete food, so nothing should be eaten with it. Consuming urad, matha, radish, garlic, watermelon, sour and salty substances, instead of benefiting, does harm, has the opposite effect. It is written in Ayurveda that if milk is taken along with fish and meat, leprosy also occurs. Actually milk is a complete food, consuming it activates the digestive system for digestion along with milk. Then if meat or eggs are eaten along with it, there is more burden on the digestive system. Second, after milk enters the stomach, it becomes curd. So, until the curd is digested, other substances are not digested. Milk should not be consumed immediately after a vegetarian meal. Doing this also has a wrong effect on the digestive system.
